Marc Guibert was certified as Maître -Restaurateur at the Grand Hotel in Ussel according to French law on 07/30/2012, certification renewed on 03/02/17.

 

The title “Maître-Restaurateur” is a quality label, granted  by the French public authorities in order to acknowledge best practices and know -how.


The certification as “Maître Restaurateur” is a guaranty that the meals are prepared on the premises with quality products by the a team of professionals. 

 

 

 

- Cooking is made on the premises mainly with fresh products. No  ready-cooked food


- A wide range of dishes is proposed : at least 4 starters, 4 main courses and 4 desserts : Moreover, one of them changes everyday


- The setting of the table has to be tasteful , with clean, assorted and dry elements in good condition


- Be able to give  clients all the necessary information,  in a precise, detailed and friendly fashion 


- To display all useful information ( tariffs, prices, services, schedule, accepted means of payment). Bid the client farewell with warm and friendly thanks and a smile


- The decoration has to be clean and in good condition


- The toilets must be clean, in good condition, properly lit and comfortably equipped


- Inform customers about equipment or specially designed amenities for handicapped people


- A parking lot or some other parking facilities are available ( whether free or not)


- The spaces dedicated to storage and cooking must be clean, in good condition, and the tools used have to meet the highest hygiene standards

The Chef, his team and myself offer you an original and genuine French cuisine, where the produces and flavours of the Limousin region mix in with the resources of other French provinces, or simply our inventions or heartfelt discoveries.

 

salle du restaurantMenus vary according to the season and are carefully composed so that you may discover the local produces : trouts, countryside cheeses, hams and sausages, local meat, foie gras, magrets, confits, boletus and much more. We rely on fresh products, so that we sometimes have to change the side dishes or are even unable to serve some of the courses listed on the menu. We do apologize beforehand should it happen.

 

Two restaurant rooms are available for you to  enjoy the products selected by the Chef
